Jo and I went to Seattle on Saturday for the STD/.m. show and it was awesome. The weather was great so we had a splendid drive down...well, except for the $200 speeding ticket we got on the way. It was a fucking woman cop so we couldn't use our feminine wiles to get out of it. Everybody else was speeding...so the difference? Jo's BMW. dammit. Anyhow, we spent a good day shopping, and with the exception of Jo's eye being fucked up, we had a fairly conflict free day. The show was awesome. We had so much fun and it was rad to hear both bands perform their new material. We drove back after the show on Saturday, so I didn't end up being home until 4am, which sucked. But at least we made it!
On Sunday, we went to the show here, and that was even better! Kenny told us to call him around 6pm because they were doing a short acoustic set for meet-and-greet contest winners and that we should come. We did. It was awesome. The show (again) was amazing. Choke opened the show because Circa Survive didn't make it across the border. Haris was having waaay too much fun asking kids if they came for that band, only to inform them that they weren't coming! Then Moneen played. Haris got up to do a guitar solo right before they played. He's so rock star! Anyhow, it was nice to see Jon and Tina at the show. After the show we hung out for a while and had a blast. I coulndn't help but laugh at the people asking for Haris's autograph. Speaking of which, after a lot of joking around, Haris said something along the lines of that it was his dream to sign a boob! Haha, I reminded him that I had boobs, and thus, today was his lucky day. We've been friends for quite a long time, so it wasn't the least bit awkward, but I was laughing so hard I thought I might have peed my pants. On another note, Manny is awesome. But anyway, we gave Chris his flowers, said goodnight to everybody, and finally headed home.

Why can't anybody tell me what Meatloaf wouldn't do?!?! What the fuck! If he would "do anything for love" why the fuck won't he do "that" ... Don't tell me you don't know what song I'm talking about.
Anyhow, SHIT! I have so much studying to do. I love how I slack off so much, don't go to class, and still find enough energy to act suprised at the amount of work I have to catch up on.
I went to the Queen concert with Niall's dad and stepmom (and Niall) and it was really fun. We went for Chinese food before and it was yummy. I hope his parents don't think I'm Chinese (not that there's anything wrong with Chinese people.haha). It was pretty funny the next day at work having these fanatical middle aged (and pretty trashy looking) women come in for Queen cd's and dvd's. None for Bad Company cd's though. haha.
I was going through some old pictures and found this gem. haha. Feb. '05. I was so drunk I got up on table thingy and started dancing by myself. It was at Tommy's so that's why were were dressed for some cowgirl action.
Oh, how the times have changed. I think I've only gotten drunk 2 times since then, and both times were in the last month or so. I'm becoming more and more of a recluse.
On another note, we accidentaly stumbled upon a slew of porn websites on the family computer's web history for at least the last two weeks. It was in the guest login, so we deduced that it must be our current mexican student! Gross. Even I won't look at porn on this computer. It's in our kitchen for fuck's sake! I had to sanitize the keyboard and everything. God I hope I didn't touch and mexican (not that there's anything wrong with Mexicans. haha) body fluid because that's fucking sick. There's only one person whose body fluid I can deal with, and it's not his.
Well, I'm going to bed. I only did half as much as I should have, but oh well.

Today work was shitty as usual. Nothing gets done in music when I'm not around it seems. I forgot my iPod, so we had to listen to CD's that we actually carry...which means we had to listen to crappy music all day long. I was so bothered by everybody that I took an early break and just went downstairs to Purdy's and ate a bunch of ice cream. It's funny how something so simple can make you so happy. It reminded me of being a kid (or at least how I imagine myself being as a kid) and that is being completely satisfied by something that is ultimately nothing. I must be going crazy...
I feel like I am not myself...but how can I not be being myself?
My political philosophy lecture was cancelled last Thursday, so I went to a phil conference on whether we are just "brains in a vat" or not. 1- fuck naturalists. 2- yay Descartes! hmm...Anyhow, work tomorrow...yay.
